Nada Simic, LMSW


Licensed Master of Social Work – NY & NJ

Nada is a Licensed Social Worker (LMSW) with years of experience working in the mental health field. She hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Hunter College and a Master’s of Social Work from Fordham University. She has also completed EMDR training at the EMDR Institute and is currently enrolled in the William Alanson White Institute’s post-graduate program for Intensive Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. Therapist Nada Simic works primarily from a psychodynamic and solution-focused perspective, with young adults and adults of all racial, ethnical, and cultural backgrounds, gender identities and sexual orientations.

 

Nada specializes in working with clients with trauma, relationship issues, life transitions, impulsive behaviors, anger, depression, and anxiety. She also welcomes individuals who are looking for personal growth and want to fulfill their potential. Her approach to therapy is strengths-based, direct, warm, and collaborative. She empathically engages with clients to help them better understand their emotional struggles, relationships with others, and barriers to being their best selves. Therapist Nada Simic strives to help her clients transform adversity into experiences that lead to growth and fulfillment.
