Jelena strives to hold a safe and allowing space for people with varied life experiences and emotional challenges. The struggles may be connected to trauma and identity, including LGBTQA2SI+, ethnic, racial, cultural and religious. Jelena aims to support individuals facing demanding family dynamics and grieving including life transitions, parenting matters, and aging. Her experience in the financial, gender and immigration industries and crisis intervention, combined with her appreciation of art, music and writing, invite meaningful therapeutic alliance with individuals navigating strenuous professions and authentic self-expression.

Rooted in the belief that emotional healing and thriving can stem from the unique relationship between a client and a therapist, her work tends to weave in warmth, mindfulness and humor. Jelena provides therapeutic services to adults in individual, couples and group sessions.

Jelena is a Licensed Master Social Worker, and has attained her Master in Social Work at New York University, Master in International Relations at Columbia University and a business undergraduate degree from New York University.
