Dr. Ashley McCall
Postdoctoral Psychology Resident – NY & NJ

Dr. Ashley McCall is a postdoctoral psychology resident with a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Saint Elizabeth University. She has gained valuable experience working in inpatient and private practice settings, providing therapy to older adolescents, couples, and adults of all ages. Dr. McCall’s academic and training experience has been with treating individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship concerns, substance abuse, and general life stressors and transitions. In addition to her clinical work, she serves as an adjunct professor in a Doctor of Counseling Psychology (Psy.D.) program at a university in New Jersey.
Dr. McCall takes a culturally competent approach to therapy, integrating several evidence-based therapeutic modalities to tailor interventions to meet each client’s unique needs. Her primary theoretical orientations include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). Believing strongly in the power of the therapeutic relationship, Dr. McCall emphasizes a collaborative, non-judgmental approach built on trust, compassion, and mutual respect. She is dedicated to fostering a safe and supportive environment where clients feel empowered to explore their concerns, achieve personal growth, and navigate life’s challenges with confidence.
