Therapist Margarita Solomonova is a New York-based Licensed Clinical Social Worker and life coach. She earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from New York University, and also has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from John Jay University. Margarita’s work and training experiences have included individual and group psychotherapy services for clients working through substance abuse and issues related to the criminal justice system. She has also served as a supervisor to clinical teams and provided oversight of case management services.

In therapy, Margarita offers a warm and supportive working environment. She primarily works with adults from all cultures and walks of life. She incorporates mind-body philosophies into her therapy work, and explains how our conscious and unconscious beliefs affect our mood and the ways in which we operate in our lives. Margarita works with her clients to develop new coping skills, strengthen self-awareness, and, ultimately, overcome the barriers that prevent you from moving forward. Margarita offers a safe space where clients can be vulnerable and authentically express the challenges they experience. She takes the time to explain the concepts she uses so that clients have a full understanding of how therapy works and can grow to build trust in the therapeutic process.
